Since beginning my Reiki practice, I have been fortunate to have many clients tell me how effective their treatments have been.  Some have indicated that pain they were feeling was either eliminated completely or significantly reduced.  Some have said that after a treatment they have left feel very relaxed and with an overall feeling of well being that has lasted a long time. 

 

A Reiki treatment is a wonderful opportunity to dedicate some time to yourself to relax and focus on your physical, mental and spiritual health.  Commonly called palm healing or hands-on-healing, a treatment is similar to massage where a Reiki practitioner places their hands on or above the body in a prescribed pattern by the head, shoulders, stomach and feet.  Some clients report a wonderful sensation of tingling, while others have said they’ve experience a glowing radiance flowing through their body.  The experience is different for everyone but each has left feeling better than when they came.  A treatment can last from 45 minutes to an hour - it depends on the person.
